I used the cards as an icebreaker game to springboard a deeper appreciation and understanding of the diversity of our experiences and stories, while highlighting the uniformity of our cultures. Great conversation starter.

Fun and Would definitely recommend. Firstly, I was so impressed with the customer service in regards to my order. Also, I did not know what to expect from the game and I played this two weeks ago with some friends and was so happy with my purchase. It was very educative, creative and fun. The game gets everyone involved and thinking about Nigerian memories and black history. I would give this a 10/10 ☺️

Can I give more than 5 stars? I would give Fill in the Black more than 5 stars if I could. When I took this game along for our family vacation, I expected it to be fun for the adults. I was blown away however, by how much fun it was for the kids, who enjoyed learning more about the Nigerian references and teaching us adults about the American ones. Thank you for creating such a wholesome, engaging fun game. Now I know what to gift everyone for Christmas.

If you love black joy This game really fills a gap, it recognises and celebrates a wide breadth of black culture. A game you can see yourself in and you can share with others. It has been a source of many laughs at the dinner table.

Amazing Naija/Afrocentric Taboo! I love card games so having one that is more central to the demographic makes it more fun and exciting. It also helps you check on your vocab or description power!! I enjoyed guessing and would recommend this as an icebreaker to anyone!!

Relatable, Engaging and Exciting!!! Apart from the fact that I lost my voice while playing this game, it was legit all shades of fun!!! Another fun fact is that you finally get to see relatable Nigerian and African terms in a game is so refreshing!! It’s also knowledgeable as it teaches you about other African countries and reminds you of notable Black heroes and trying to describe them ingrains the African culture into our minds and most importantly makes us proud to be black and African Amazing initiative by TVP Adventures, if you haven’t gotten this game....no dull yourself oh!!!

A MUST HAVE GAME! Playing Fill in the black game was so much fun and filled with laughter. Imagine trying to describe John Boyega without saying actor or that he is British or Nigerian. You have to task your brain more and that for me is the fun part! Fill in the black game is perfect to play with your friends, colleagues, family and anyone!

AN AMAZING GAME. An amazing game which brings up black vibes. It is also educative about black history and I enjoyed playing it.

YOU'RE IN FOR A TRIP. When I showed up at the hangout and saw this game, I was like, "Oh okay, let's see how it goes." Then the cards came out, and we started jumping. Everyone. Time just flew by. Think of it like Charades, but for like, black culture. And then, there's the language part. How do you describe Martin Luther King Jnr without saying "I have a dream" or Civil Rights? How do you describe Fela Kuti without saying Afrobeat? Fill in the Black is literally what it means. What does it mean to be black in Lagos or Addis, in Haiti or Kingston? In Brooklyn or London? It's also a lot of fun. It's all here, and I imagine there'll be so much more in the future.
